16/10/2010 Afc vs Millmoor Juniors 0-14 Katie Russell Although the score says 14-0 this definately isnt a fair judgement of the hard work that all of you put in to this game! Millmoor are a fantastic teama nd they play some beautiful football and they deserve good credit for the performance they gave. That said girls you still gave them a good run for their money at times. When the ball was fed up front it was on most occasions that either Kaite M or Grace had a good dig at trying to break throught the defence and have a shot, unfortunately not finding the back of the net. Midfield, Georgia, Maddie, India and Lana worked hard and again battled for everyball and it was nice to see you all starting to think outside the box with your tactical decsions. Leah and Courtney had a tough game at the back, a few unlucky chances by Millmoor allowed them to break through. However there was one player who shone today and they gave the performance of the season so far... Katie Russell had a fantastic game making some of the best saves ive seen at this level of football. The millmoor manager was amazed by your talents, Well done keep it up! Well doen to all of you today girls, you did your best and thats all we can ask of you! lets have some more fun in the league now :-) Becky and Andy
9/10/2010 Afc vs Maltby Juniors 0-2 Leah Marriott A great game today girl's. Great to show Maltby how we have improved over the summer and we put up a good fight. The score doesn't reflect the hard work you all put in. Welcome to Grace for her first game and it was nice to see how well you fit in. Defence had a hard game with courtney being away however Lana did a fantastic job filling her shoes for the game. Midfield worked hard again, Maddie, India, Georgia and Grace producing some great football in the middle and forwarding the ball up to Kaite Mitchell upfront who was unlucky on a number of occasions. Katie Russel had a greta game, you are shaping into a brilliant goal keeper, Keep up the good work! We need to keep up the good work girls and the results will start coming our way ! You make us all proud everyweek so keep going :-) Becky and Andy
2/10/2010 Eckington Belles vs Afc 2-0 Katie Russell Shame about today, not a great deal to say. Lets look on from this match and get back on our game, heads up Girls :-)
25/09/2010 Afc v Dearne and District 1-5 Katie Mitchell Maddie Proctor A game of two halfs today from the girls. The first half was fantastic, all of you working so hard and playing some great football. Katie Russell had a great game in the goal, pulling off some fantastic saves and her goal kicks creating many oppertunities for Katie mitchell to get hold of. At the back Courtney had to work with a new partner due to Leah being away but Lana did a fantastic job and deserves a big pat on the back. She battled hard for every ball and communicated well with Courtney, you did well girls. In midfield Georgia, India and Maddie were running non-stop creating oppertunities to push forward and troubling the Dearne defence. During the first half we went up with a great goal from Katie M. After half time dearne pulled the scoring level only to go on and score a few more throughout the rest of the game. A very tiring second half for the girls today but you did well regardless! Well done to Maddie today for achieving the girl of the match award, she was determined to win every ball in todays game and didnt stop once. All of you are working so well as a team and it made Andy proud to see the difference in his first game back. WELL DONE and keep up the good work !! Becky :-)
11/09/2010 Chapeltown Athletic v Afc 0-7 Georgia Hunter, Katie Mitchell Katie Mitchell WOW!!! I think to start with a huge CONGRATULATIONS is in order for an outstanding performace today! A game that was full of excitment and respect. The first half got off to a fantastic start with georgia scoring after a couple of minutes, pressuring the keeper and following through with her shot resulting in her first goal for the club. With the enthusiasm high, all the girls were getting stuck into every ball. Maddie, Lana,India and Georgia holding well in midfield creating lots of oppertunities to make runs and have shots. India making some great set ups for Katie Mitchell to get hold off,1 which resulted in a goal. Unfortunatley for Chapletown, one of their player scored an own goal but carried on well. After the break the second half only got more exciting. Courtney and Leah being very strong at the back and rarely letting the ball get past them, but when it did Katie Russell was very quick to react and stopped it finding the back of the net. A goal feast from Katie Mitchell in the second half brought the score to 7-0, although it was unlucky to not be more after Maddie and India were close on a few more occasions. Overall a fantastic game today girls you did everyone so proud! And your attitude towards the other team was great, showing alot of respect towards them, Well Done! Keep up the great work !! Becky :-)
04/09/2010 Afc v Brinsworth Whitehall 1-2 Katie Mitchell Georgia Hunter and Courtney Parr-Berry Welcome back to the new season girls and welcome to our new starters! A great first game of the season full of action and lots of fun. All the girls were really excited for the first game back and everysingle one tried there best against a new brinsworth team. The first half saw both teams battling hard and both teams scoring. Kaite Russells first game in the net and she did really well! Courtney and Leah easily slipped back into their old routine, communicating well and trying to stop the opposition getting anywhere near the goal. Lana, India and Maddie had their first taste of midfield in todays game and all worked realy hard, occasianlly making some good breaks that were extremely unlucky to not find the goal. Georgia now playing a central midfield position was very strong today and never stopped pushing forward and then running back to help defend, and was confident in taking players on down the wing to make her own runs. Well done! Kaite mitchell had a great game up front and was very unlucky to have only scored the one goal, as it could have quite easily been 5 or 6 goals as they narrowly missed the net.All the girls deserve a huge round of applause for todays game and the two girls that got girl of the match completely deserved them. All round a fantastic game today with a great atmosphere ! Thank you to Danny for reffing today! I thoroughly look forward to the rest of the seaon girls with this new burst of energy the team has. Becky and Collete :-)
Start Of Season 2010 - 2011
17/04/2010 Afc v Millmoor 0-9 Courtney Parr-Berry, Leah Marriot and Katie Russel A great day for the last game of the season, the sun shinig and everyone turned up early to give a hand with setting up, which im very thankful for. All the girls were enthusiastic about this game, my only advice to them was to go out and enjoy it and to show millmoor that we arent the same team we were many weeks ago when we first played them, which the girls did brilliantly. Some of the girls said to me at half time, "these have got easier" , no girls you have got much much better ! It was a great start to the game, the girls put in 110% batting hard for every ball, being strong with their tackles and even having the confidence to take on the defence of the other team, very unlucky to not have got some more shots off. The half time talk was very simple this week, keep doing exactly what you are doing! Which the girls did. Olivia, Katie R, Katie M and Chloe all had a go in net during the game and all pulled off some fantastic saves. Leah and Courtney were EXCELLENT at the back today, by far their best performance of the season, and truely earning them their lady of the match medals. Geogia, Olivia, Chloe and Katie R were strong in midfield, winning everyball they could but also tracking back and helping defence,Katie R working non stop and deserving her medal. Katie mitchell did great upfront, being strong and taking on the defence, unlucky to not always get the break through she deserved. All in all a fantastic performance by the girls today, if i had a medal for all of you you would have got one,you all made me and the parents very proud! And although Andy couldnt make it for the game he was also very pleased and proud of you for all the hard work you had put in. Was great to share a little celebration at the end with you all, even though Katie R kept running away :-) Well done Girls and Thank you for all you hard work and commitment. Becky :-D
10/04/2010 Maltby v Afc 0-0 Courtney Parr-Berry and Gergia Hunter A truely entertaining game today, one of if not the best of the season. Fab to see both teams, shaking hands and having a laugh and a joke to start the game. Lovely weather and lots of happy faces. A good start for the girls today playing the ball around in the middle of the pitch, unfortunate that chloe was unable to continue in goal due to illness, but Olivia had a fabulous game for the rest of the first half, pulling off some great saves, which she should be really proud of. However i think the best praise comes from the team effort in the second half, Katie R took over in the net and was absolutely fantastic, well done!! Courtney had one of her best games at the back today, not letting the maltby strikers get past her and putting in some strong tackles and working well with Leah, the two of them forming a good bond at the back. In the middle Olivia was making strong runs and unfortunately not having the support form other players to tap the ball in the back of the net. Chloe came back on in the second half and gave a good performance in the centre, working hard to prove herself to her team mates. Katie Mitchell made some good tackles today aswell even though she wasn't at her peak today. Last but not least our second lady of the match Georgia had a fantastic game today, working hard to be the first to every ball, what a great performance. Well done to all of you today girls you did us all proud, and you have realy proved yourself the last couple of games. Lets see you all with the same enthusiasm for the last game next week ! well done :-) Becky
03/04/2010 Doncaster Belles v Afc 15-0 Leah Marriott A great game from all of the girls today, everyone played the game well, battled hard and didnt let the score effect them. It was great for the management to see all of you coming off with smiles on your faces having enjoyed a good game of football, and its clear that you are all improving. It was nice to have a swap around in goal today, with Chloe, Katie M and Olivia wearing the gloves and having a go between the sticks. Georgia had a great game in midfield today, made me proud to see you enjoying yourself today and working harder than ever. Courtney and Leah had a great game, strong at the back closing down the attackers wherever possible, and Leah fully deserving her Lady of the match award. Katie R and Olivia played well in midfield too, taking on the Doncaster girls and feeding Katie M forward, very unlucky on a few occasions, not to find the back of the net. All in All great game today girls, heads up and lets keep going for our last two games, do us proud :-) Becky
20/03/2010 Handsworth v Afc 4-0 Chloe Cutts The weather today didn't help with great spirits for the first half of todays game. Everyone seemed abit down in the dumps and seemed to be abit stuck in the mud. Chloe pulled of a great save which unfortunately resulted in her hurting her wrist, Katie Mitchell taking over in the net, and what a fantastic replacement she was. Very unlucky to have the goals go in today Katie, try not to get your head down too much. The second half of the game today saw a light switch get turned on, everyone came out fighting and wanting to own the ball. One of the best performances i have seen for a long time. We were first to the ball in midfield, with Olivia, Georgia and Chloe battling hard and getting the ball forward. Defence, Leah and Courtney had a great second half, clearing the ball out of the keepers way and away from the goal. Katie Russel had a good run up front, working hard with Olivia and very unlucky to not get a goal. Lady of the match award was a tough one today with three contenders, however Chloe had that extra edge as soon as she came out of the net, didnt stop once. Well Done today girls great to see when you have the sparkle in your eyes when playing good football! Keep it up. Becky :-)
06/03/2010 Beighton Magpies v Afc 7-0 Olivia Barnsley A good game from the girls today, starting a little slow then building up to a great finish. Nice to have the full team available for us today. Chloe had a good first half in the net and made some good saves and was just lacking in abit of confidence earlier on which unfortunatley lead to a few goals being conceaded, a fantastic game out field in the second half tho. Courtney and Leah were abit quiet at the start of the game and just needed the oppertunity to warm to the game, but once they found their stride they were strong and putting in some good challeneges. Georgia and Deanna playing in midfield were closing people down and marking up well and occasionally feeding the ball up to the forwards. Olivia had a great game today and her lady of the match was awarded by me on the reccommendation from the referee who praised the effort and comitment she shouwed throughout the game. She did however have close competition from both of the katie's today. Katie R had a brilliant game, continuously battling for the ball and pushing forward and Katie Mitchell also had a great first half up front but her second half in the net was complimented by all ! Great game girls, keep playing and battling hard. nice to see you all smiling all the game, keep up the good work! :-) Becky
20/2/2010 Sprotsbrough v Afc 2-0 Leah Marriott This was a game of two halfs. First half we battled but the ball just wouldn't come our way. Most of the game was in the middle as nither Keeper had much to do. The break through came from a unfortunate handball in the box. We went 1-0 down just before half time. After a pep talk the girls came out with a different aspect towards the game. We pushed on but just couldn't find the break through. The coaches could sense that the girls were getting fustrated because everything the girls did just didn't pull off which was very unfortunate as it was all good play. The final blow came halfway through the second half with one of their many attacks put us under pressure. It pin balled around in the box before falling to one of their players to toe poke it past our keeper which didn't have much to do the whole game. Chloe had a quite morning in the net with only having to pick up the ball twice. Leah after the handball came back strongly and cleared everything that came her way. She learnt not to put her hand in the way and clear it with her head instead Well deserved ladie of the match. Courtney had a steady game for her first game back. Georgia we could tell your head wasn't in the game but you battled hard when it was. Katie R you are coming on as you were getting your foot in to the fifty fifty challenges and making runs We can tell you are going to be a good asset to the team. Olivia was again all over the pitch trying to help her team mates out but just ran out of steam in the second half. As a manager i feel that olivia works to hard some of the time. Katie M we could tell you got very frustrated up front on your own battling it out with two defenders every time. In all I feel as manager that we could have preformed a lot lot better as we proved the week before. We will learn by our mistakes and come back stronger. This happens in football at every level we were just unfortunate for it to happen this week. Keep Going Girls i promise you it will come. Andy
13/2/10 Afc v Wickersly Blues 1-3 Katie Mitchell Olivia Well Well Well todays game what a game. To say we played one of the top sides we matched them in every department. Starting at the back. Chloe for her first game back was really good saving shots and diving at girls feet. Well Done Chloe. We palyed Deanna Leah and Katie Russell at the back and it payed off with the defence being solid and covering their positions stopping their opponents getting through Well done Ladies. In midfield we played Olivia and Georgia. Olivia played the middle of the park winning every tackle and being really strong she was all over the place and even managed to do a run which lead to the goal Well done Liv deserved ladie of the match your best game in a while. Georgia played just in front of the defence and cut out the attacks that were building up Well done Georgia. Katie again was poaching every where and showed her strength up front which payed off as she was able to latch on to a well placed cross from livvy and score on the Volley. Well done Katie told you the goals would come. In all we were two nil down in the first half and after a stern word about tackling every one of the girls came out fighting putting Wickersly on the back foot for most of the second half. The third goal was unlucky and we put it down to tired legs. We are so proud of you all today Lets hope we've turned that corner. Lets keep going girls we are all proud of you. All the Coaching Staff.
6/2/10 Wickersly Reds v Afc 7-0 Katie Mitchell Would just like to Welcome Katie Russell to the team. After a long lay off the girls ralled together and worked really hard. The score didn't reflect how well they played. With Chloe not being very well we put Katie Mitchell in goal for the first half and she was Very Good to say she has never played that position before. She was really strong and showed that she has a different side to her game. Well Done. Second half saw Olivia show us what she could do in the net and she produce the same as Katie. Well Done Livvy. We had to jig the girls around a bit but every girl played their part. Leah and Deanna worked really hard getting their tackles in but just wasn't enough against a very strong Wickersly Side. Courtney and Georgia was putting some really hard tackles in Well Done Girls. Katie Russell for her first game played really well and battled hard Well Done Katie. Katie Mitchell in the second half showed her strength and made problems for their defence. In all to say we haven't played since the beginning of december every one played really well from all the Coaching Staff.
5/12/09 AFC v Doncaster Belles 0-20 Chloe Cutts and Katie Mitchell Firstly i would like to apologise to all the parents who turned up and watched our very first unappealing game of the season. I think the least said about this game the better. Lets take it as a learning curve and move on and not expect every team to be nicy nicy (if you was at the game you know what i mean RESPECT!!!). On a little happier note Well Done katie and Chloe for being the best two players today.
28/11/09 AFC v Wickersley blues (cup) 1-6 Olivia Barnsley Olivia Barnsley First of all a huge thank you to all the girls and their parents for their co-operation with the last minute changes today, its really appriciated. The first cup game for the girls and what a game it was. Even though the weather was baltic, the girls still managed to have yet another fantastic game. Chloe made some fantastic saves from some super shots made by wickersley and made them look almost effortless, good job. Deanna and Leah strong yet again at the back and once they started talking to each other managed to get good order running to the rest of the team. Georgia had another cracking game in midfield tracking back and helping defence out for the majority of the game whilst still making occasional pushes forward to help up front. Courtney also having a good game in midfield. Olivia had her old spark back in todays game, full of enthusiasm and desperate to score another goal, which came in the second half and what a goal it was!! Amazing strike from just inside of the half way line, straight past the keeper to find the back of the net. Katie was again great upfront, battling hard and making lots of good challenges and some super runs. Great perfomance today, can see the girls are getting more confident in their footballing skills as the games go by. Well done girls proud of ya :-) Also a big thank you to tom the ref today for coming with us as short notice to the away ground. Becky
21/11/09 Crosspool v AFC 7 - 0 Katie Mitchell Again another great game from the girls, even though crosspool are one of the top sides in the league. Chloe was brave yet again but just couldn't cope with the hard shots from the oppenants even a lads team wouldn't be able to cope with them (Well Done). Leah and Deanna were strong at the back making some great tackles (Great Game). Courtney and Georgia were all over the pitch trying to break down the oppenants attacks. They won most of these but some of the play from crosspool was just so good nothing could be done. Well Done girls you tried your best. Olivia and katie both were fantastic today trying to link up together. You can see they have come on so much and are starting to play well together (Well Done). Katie a Well deserved ladie of the match you worked very hard and won most of the balls you battled for. Ketie you was up for it today and we all could see that with the way you played (Well Done). We can all see that the girls are improving, it won't be long before we rack up another win. Please just remember this year we are learning what the game is about and what we can see is that you are all getting better week by week. Well Done Girls :D The Coaching staff and I would also like to thank the girls for being well behaved at the shoot for Haybrooks. The Photos came out brilliantly and you all look like little models on them. A Big thankyou to rebecca for coming out so early on a cold and windy morning Thanks.
14/11/09 AFC V Beighton Magpies 0-7 Georgia Hunter An outstanding performance from the girls today! The score unfortunately not reflecting the girls performance. The first half was hard work, working up hill against the wind, yet the girls still made some fantastic passes and managed to get a couple of shots off, just unlucky to find the back of the net.The second half was great and lots of effort form the girls kept the tempo high. Leah and Deanna strong at the back pulling off some great tackles. Georgia had an amazing game running up and down the left wing non stop, making some crucial tackles and feeding the ball through to katie and olivia. Katie was battleing hard upfront today and was getting stuck, tracking back when needed. Olivia was running all over the feild again taking on all the magpies players, great job. Courtney was also a key player in midfield today making some fantastic tackles and putting lots of pressure on the magpies players. Chloe was amazing in net today, some saves that top keepers in england would have been proud off, just like the mosbrough coaching staff were. Great game today girls, keep your heads up. WELL DONE :-) Becky
7/11/09 Wickersley blues v Afc 13-0 Leah Marriott Well Done girls. The score didn't reflect on how well you played. Chloe was fantastic in the net pulling off some great saves especially the one on ones. Well Done. Deanna you seemed a bit lost in the first half but in the second you picked it up. Well Done. Leah you were fantastic today strong as ever. You won the big majority of tackles that came your way. You are proving to be a major factor of this team. You deserved Ladie of the match today Well Done. Georgia you were fantastic today. You were all over the pitch helping olivia fight for every ball. Your positioning and support play was really good. A big well done. Courtney to say you wasn't well you was very strong and kept going. You battled hard. Keep going courtney i can see improvement. Olivia again was all over the pitch supporting everybody and trying to get the ball to katie. Please don't get your head down you are a really good player. Keep Going Well Done. Katie you was up against some really good defenders and i noticed they twoed up on you all the time. That goal will come it was only by a good save from their keeper you didn't score. Well Done. Overall the score didn't reflect on how well you all played it was only because they had a few good players who could finish. Keep Going girls remember it's our first season. Just a little note i'd like to say thankyou to Lilly and Alan for coming along and supporting the team. A big Thankyou also goes out to all the parents who support us week in week out. Thankyou. Andy
31/10/2009 AFC Vs Sprotbrough 1-1 Olivia 1 Katie Michell To say we only had 5 player they all dug deep. Everyone was supurb starting with Chole coming of her line and diving at the opperant feet once again very brave. (well done chole)Leah was solid at the back sometimes she was up against three striker and winning the ball. (Brilliant again) Georgia was like a work horse up and down the field and supporting the defence and attack. (Keep it up Georgia well done). Olivia my god she worked her socks off and deserved her goal. A well worked goal running from the half way line and slotting a prefect shot in the corner. At the end Olivia must have ran a marathon today (well Done)Katie up her game today and never stop even though she was holding a injury she never stopped even going through the pain barrier and getting some shots away and battling hard. You deserve your lady of the the match award (Well Done). In all you showed that you all have fight in you and never gave up. At times played some good football and had most of the ball even though they we played with 5 A big well Done Today Andy
17/10/2009 AFC vs Dronfield town 0-9 Deanna Hay ladys this was good stuff again. To say this team was one of the top teams the score didnt reflect the game You battled for everything You can see that you are all learning and improving To say the opposition girls had been together 3yrs you all worked hard for each other Chole again was brave has ever and Deanna play really well being in the middle of everything keep it up Deanna you are improving with every game Leah what a defender again you played really well winning most of the one on ones (well done).Georgia worked hard in the middle of the pitch(Good stuff).Courtney to say you was struggling with your breathing you followed your marker all over the pitch (very brave). Olivera had a steady game trying to break up most of the opponant attack and trying to get the ball to Katie Keep going Olivera It will come you are a very good player and I am proud of you (Well done)Katie I feel for you at the moment you are feeding on scraps but when you get the ball I can see you trying to be more direct keep going Katie you battled hard and looked positive and energic toward goal (Brilliant)In all you all started slow but after getting all your confidance. The football started to come the second half was a lot better then the first.Keep going ladys its coming and believe me it will all klic in place I have no worries A BIG WELL DONE.
31/10/2009 AFC Vs Wickersley red 0-11 Courtney This game was a game of two halves. First half there seemed be a big black cloud over Mosborough girls. Lets forget about that now and move on. Second half these girls were playing for pride and by god they showed us some spirit we went girl for girl and I made it there personal challange to follow the oppositions around the pitch. After a few strong tackles they settled down and started playing at times some fantastic football. Everyone played well but we thought Courtney was the lady of the match WELL DONE. She followed her oppenant all over the pitch, and battled for every ball. she listened to every instruction i gave her. At one stage of the match the girl was subbed off and courtney nearly followed her of the pitch LOL only kidding Courtney. As a manager I have learnt alot about the girls and their temperament, they are fighters and I feel I was a little harsh on them this Week. But I have to check their bounderies and I think a little tweek here and there we have a making of a good squad and thats including the parents. WELL DONE ALL OF YOU Andy
03/10/09 AFC Vs Maltby 3-1 Olivia 3 Georgia Hunter A BIG WELL DONE to all of the girls they were fantastic. Starting with chloe who was very strong in goal. Saving most of the one on one's with their striker(Fantastic). Leah was again solid at the back cutting out the striker and making it safe so that we could then regroup Well Done. Deanna my little Ashley Cole defending and managing to go up and get a couple of shots away herself Brillent. Courtney for only her second game was strong in midfield and won a percentage of the balls and broke up their attack (keep it up). Georgia what a fantastic game she had. She was all over the pitch winning balls and passing them to our strikers. You deserved your medal Fantastic. Olivia three fantastic well took goals. The pick of them the third were she took on three or four of Maltby's players and shot outside the box which went in the top right hand corner. Her technique was fantastic and again she had a fantastic engine and never gave up. Congratulations on your first ever hatrick. Katie again tried her hardest but just couldn't get the ball in the net due to Maltby's keeper having a fantastic game. You are doing everything right i have got no worries and the goals with start to flow soon. Keep going katie you are my Micheal Owen. To say that the girls played in front a big crowd in windy conditions the football you all played was really good and we knew that it wouldn't be long before you notched up your first win. Lets keep at it and lets try and keep this good feeling going. A BIG WELL DONE From everyone who watched the game. All the coaching staff :D.
26/10/2009 Millmoor Vs AFC 19-0 Chloe Cutts We was up against a very good side who as never lost a game in 3 years. But it was never about the score it was how the ladys reacted to this game. They where fantastic Chloe my god what a keeper She may be the smallest player in the side but what a heart of a lion she deserve the lady of the match. Leah and Deanna never gave up at the back. Olivia and Courtney (first game by the way)fought for everything. Katie and Georgia tryed there hardest to get us a goal. They were all brillant. Im proud to be there manager and a BIG WELL DONE you lost the game but won the hearts of everyone who watched the match. Andy
19/09/09 AFC Vs Handsworth 1-2 Katie AFC Olivia Again the Girls did AFC proud. They fought from start to finish and never gave up. Everyone of them did their role to the best of their ability. The goal came from Deanna who worked really hard all the way through the game. She passed the ball onto Olivia who ran 3/4 of the pitch and passed a perfect ball to katie which set her on her way hitting a sweet shot between the goalkeepers legs. This brought it to 1-1 but unfortunatly they caught us on the break with a few minutes to go, going on and slotting a lucky winner past the keeper and defence that were perfect all game. Leah was emmence as usual clearing a majority of the balls and tackles that came her way, she also did well taking the Goal kicks reaching the halfway line. Midfield were persistant winning most of the 50/50 tackles. Georgia was a star never giving up and winning a majority of the tackles. UNLUCKY GIRLS Keep Going Very Proud. If we carry on the way were going wont be long before we notch up our first Win. WELL DONE GIRLS (Andy)
12.09.09 Dronfield Vs AFC 15-1 Olivia Afc Olivia Well for our first game the girls did really well. We started with 6 players with olivia in the net. The girls were nervous and unsettled but after a little change swapping olivia for chloe in goal we found two stars chloe in the net with a heart of a lion and olivia up front with katie teaming up well. Our first goal of the season came after we went 12-0. Chloe threw the ball out to Deanna who passed the ball on to Olivia who ran down the wing and took on a couple of dronfield players and slotted the ball in the near post. The Girls did well never putting their heads down and coming off with smiles on their faces. They are a credit to the club WELL DONE girls keep it up (Andy.)
